MIKE CONDON MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
Two years ago, we lost a good friend and a great man. Mike Condon, a long time resident to Northeast Philadelphia, died suddenly after suffering a heart attack. Mike was a Father Judge graduate and a member of the Insulators Union Local 14. Mike was very dedicated to the Delaware Valley Community. He was well known in the hockey world from the youth level up to and including the professional ranks. Mike took pride in building youth athletes’ character both on and off the ice. He was very active with the Frankford Boys Club and gave many hours of community service to this program. Mike touched many lives as a coach, hockey official, baseball umpire, teacher, mentor and friend.
The Staff of the ECHOA truly misses Mike. Each of us has known Mike for many years. Every official who knew Mike is encouraged to attend this event. It is a great opportunity to help give something back to the officiating family. Mike's children's education is very important and a very worth while cause.
The prizes are awesome. It is a great chance to meet many of our professional officiating friends. But most importantly, it is a great way to remember a person who was so important to our officiating family. Please take the time... and join us!
